A Country is a political geographic entity where a diskmag was published or created. Some diskmags are associated to more than one country.

The geopolitical situation in the respective time of a diskmag's lifespan needs to be taken into consideration when evaluating its country of origin. This concerns mostly the shifts after the end of the Cold War. Further, there is no strong determination between origin and language of a diskmag's content.

In this catalog, many diskmags have not been associated to a country yet.
